Why we charge additional travel fees?
First of all, we would want to thank you for taking the time visit our website and to consider working with us at FAIRwell Travel to assist with your travel and vacation plans. We understand just how much your vacations means to you, and our sole focus is to make sure that we find the trip which is perfectly suited to you. We have a true passion for travel as well as a devotion to advocacy, education and communication on your behalf, while traveling with Food Allergies, Intolerances and Restrictions.
With the additional research, quotes, emails, phone calls and more, our expertise is of additional valuable, especially where food allergies, intolerances and restrictions are concerned. This is why we have made the decision to implement additional fees from planning in the beginning to the unfortunate and dreaded cancellation of your vacations.
Our Planning Fee covers all research for finding your vacation package, recommendations I provide and the process of confirming the booking, as well as quotes. Once we confirm your booking, the Planning Fee will also cover . It will cover all additional arrangements needs with regards to food allergies, intolerances and restrictions, advice on travel documentation, and the latest travel advice relating to government regulations and so on. We can assure you that we are not just here for booking you vacation…We are here to support you throughout your entire travel journey…from confirming your vacation to a post call follow up when you return.
In order to get started, we will send you over the authorization form for you to review. Once that is processed, we won’t have to wait a minute longer to start planning your trip! The authorization will also include all of our contact details so you know we are easily reached for any of your travel queries pre or post travel! "
Before we confirm your trip, we also want to make you aware of the additional fees, such as cancellation fees that are applicable in the event your trip does not take place. If your trip is cancelled, whether it is your choice or any other reason, a cancellation service fee will apply. These fees are in addition to any penalties imposed by the supplier/tour operator. Keep in mind, should you purchase Manulife travel insurance (through us or through a referral), these fees can be submitted as part of your overall claim in the event of cancellation. If you have secured your own travel insurance, terms may vary based on the coverages of the insurance provider so I recommend to check with them directly.
